  1. Now I’ve resolved the pointer issues, I might be able to add in some more new stuff into the application 🙂

  2. Just updated to 2.2 & I receive code dumps after changing the skin and saving. Happened with all 4 attempts I made, with the last one resulting in an immediate code dump when starting the app.

  3. Very strange. I tested this considerably and didn’t experience any crashes once I’d resolved the pointer corruption issue.

If it now dumps when starting up, then I’m guessing it could be a problem with one of the config files. Whatever caused the dump after changing the skin may have corrupted the settings file.

It’ll be worth re-downloading and trying again. I’ll do some more investigation to see if I can recreate this. I’m running with HBC v0.3 – There have been reports of people having issues when they haven’t upgraded the HBC.

Edit to add – just retested this again and can’t recreate any issues – I’ve cycled through the skins/saving each time and haven’t had one crash. This is consistent with all the previous testing I did before releasing this – Let me know how you get on.

  4. Hola Pembo:
De igual forma, reporto que tras cambiar el idioma o el skin recibo un DSI Code Dump. En la versión anterior (2.1)sucedia lo mismo. La aplicación la he descargado através de Homebrew Browser.

  5. I’ll take another look. This is where the issue was that I thought I’d resolved in v2.2 – Mokona – do you get the error in v2.2?

  6. Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but I’ve been able to reproduce the dumps on every occasion. I’ve tried replacing the entire files/folder with a new copy, formatting my sd card, installing via the homebrew browser, deleting & re-creating bootmii.ini, and everything else I could think of & it still dumps after applying changes & exiting from the language/theme section. I’m on an NTSC console with official SM 4.0U (non LU64), HBC 1.0.3, and Wanins cIOS r14.

Not sure if this helps any – but here ya go.

    Stack Dump:

    80008a38 –> 80036bf4 –> 80035610 –> 800043a4 –>

  7. try v2.3

I’ve ripped apart all the code that I suspect caused the issues, and it now no longer always loads the XML files, only on startup. Let me know if this fixes the issue for you. Again, I can’t recreate anything as you’ll see in the video.

  8. v2.3 works perfectly, no dumps whatsoever. The green screen with new boarder completely rocks!

    ThanX!
