TetWiis Update

Following the first beta release, and with (so far) no reports of any issues, I’ve been continuing development of TetWiis.

To start with, I’ve changed the blocks to now use a graphic rather than simply drawing sqaures. This has made it look so much better!

Next up, I’ve started to add backgrounds into the main game. I’m going to make the background images change at various level changes. A quick sample of what the first level screen looks like is shown below.

  1. Looking good! Just downloaded the 0.1b today from the homebrew browser, best Tetris homebrew game I’ve played on the Wii 🙂

Can’t wait for the updates, the changing backgrounds is a great idea!

  2. Thank you for the compliment.
My aim was to try and make it the best homebrew version of tetris so I really do appreciate the comment 🙂

There’s still loads that I want to do, so I might go through quite a few more future versions yet, but I’ve had very little (no) negative feedback or reported issues so hopefully everything is good so far.

    Thanks once again – pembo
