BootMii Configuration Editor

UPDATE – BootMii Configuraiton Editor v2.4 has been released, see here

Update:
BootMii Configuration Editor has been updated to v1.0
Please see: Here for additional details.

My First Wii Homebrew application!

The BootMii Configuration Editor allows you to modify the BootMii ini file on the SD card to change the settings, without having to bring the SD card over to the PC and edit it.

You can change the following options:

  • Video – NSTC/PAL50/PAL60/PROGRESSIVE
  • Autoboot – System Menu / Homebrew Channel
  • Boot Delay – Time in Seconds from 0 to 5 for how long the BootMii screen shows before autobooting.

The application is console based and controlled via the wiimote d-pad.  Use UP/DOWN to move through menu items, left and right to change the options, and the A button to select the save/discard option.

Pressing HOME will also quit discarding any changes.

  1. Excelente utilidad, gracias por compartir tu trabajo.
Me gustaría que agregaras la opción de renombrar el directorio de BootMii, por ejemplo a BootMi, para activar o desactivar el inicio de BootMii al encender la consola.

Excellent utility, thank you to share your work.
I would like that you added the option of renaming the directory of BootMii, for example to BootMi, to activate or to disable the beginning from BootMii when lighting the console.

PD. Apologize for my not well English, but I speak Spanish.

  2. Hello Mokona, I think you could just insert/extract your sd card as required to select whether bootmii will load or not.

    Gracias nuevamente.

Of course, that it is the most practical solution. I suggested it to avoid to extract the SD of the Wii when doesn’t want that BootMii begins when lighting the console.
At the moment I rename the directory BootMii to Bootmi with SD explorer. BootMii Configuration Editor is very practical and I consider useful that added this option. However, it is only a suggestion and is very acceptable if you don’t want to consider it.
    Thank you again.

  4. Thanks.

Just set the boot delay to 0 and it’ll boot straight into whatever autoboot option is set immediately without showing the bootmii screen (assuming you have bootmii v0.2)

  5. Cierto pembo, no me había percatado de que se podía establecer el boot delay a 0. Disculpa la confusión y nuevamente gracias por compartir tu trabajo.

Certain pembo, I had not noticed that the boot delay could settle down at 0. It excuses the confusion and again thank you to share your work.
