BootMii Configuration Editor v2.2 – Update Part 2

So, I’ve changed an awful lot of code and am still having some strange issues with the XML parsing.  I suspect this might be something to do with me corrupting a pointer somewhere along the way but I can’t spot anything obvious.  The language list is fine when it loads, but then when I present it on the screen, the very first language string gets corrupted which cause serious corruption and the console goes strange!

It’s a real pain to debug, but I’m now going through line by line trying to find where the corruption is caused – when I find this hopefully I’ll get v2.2 out.   If this takes much longer, for now, I’ll release a few language files with different translations in that you can download and replace the main config so you can get the application in your own language!

I’ve also been working on something else for the wii – details of this will be announced soon.

BootMii Configuration Editor v2.2 Update

I’m still working on v2.2 but have hit a few issues.

v2.2 should contain translations in the following languages:

  • Dutch/Nederlands – Thanks to MarioWaza
  • Finnish/Suomi – Thanks to JaniN
  • German – Thanks to Helsionium

However, right now the size of the XML file seems to be causing an issue with the mini-xml parser which has resulted in some reworking of the code to separate out the languages into their own files.  This is taking some time but hopefully I’ll have v2.2 out by the weekend.

v2.1 incorrectly reports a new version is available – it’s reporting wrong as I messed up the version number in v2.1 so internally it still thinks its v2.0 😳
