About

Information about pembo.co.uk and my history.

I’m a UK graduate in computing science and have been working in the commercial software industry for a large number of years developing bespoke solutions and applications for large ‘blue chip’ companies using many different languages, technologies & techniques.

I currently specialise in the development of service and microservice based architectures and applications utilising architectural styles such as ‘Micro Services’, ‘SOA‘ and a ‘Mesh App and Service Architecture’.

In addition to this, I work on the development and integration of business transformation technologies into the aforementioned architectures, including Robotic Process Automation and Process Discovery and other automation approaches whilst continually evangelising and pursuing a devops agenda utilising continuous integration, inspection and deployment techniques.

Amongst other things, this website features an archive of some of the personal developments that I’ve done throughout the many years of my life (purely as a personal archive).  These developments span from my school years, developing for 8/16 bitsystems through to more recent times, covering languages ranging from STOS BASIC thorugh to Java and .NET. Some of these are available from the downloads page to download and run, with more recent projects available on GitHub..

I’ve a personal interest in game development, and personally enjoyed developing Nintendo Wii Homebrew applications using C/C++.  Currently my Wii BootMii Configuration Editor Utility has had in excess of 200,000 downloads from different locations online, and TetWiis now over 100,000 downloads from this website alone.

My most popular development has been the e2Stream Samsung Smart TV application, allowing you to make use of an Enigma2 set top box from a remote Samsung SMART TV.

If you wish to get in touch for whatever reason, please use the Contact Me link here or in the menu at the bottom of any page to drop me a note, and I’ll endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.
